"For many years people wanted straight, long and sometimes unachievable hair styles. To cut corners and save money we started letting our mom, sister, and anyone who would lend 10 - 15 minutes of their time to process our relaxers. Suddenly, but not soon
enough, we began to lose our hair. To maintain some of our tresses and reaffirm ourselves with whom we are, we began to grow inside and out and let the natural person reappear.

Many salons have recognized the wake up of natural hair styling and have welcomed clients with open arms. Some clients have not been natural since the late 70's. It is very important to make sure your client is ready because it takes patience to grow out naturally.

Here at Kinks, Inc. located in Ft. Washington, MD, we maintain Locs, Cornrow, Natural Twist, etc. When you come to my salon you are immediately consulted by your stylist.

I have been getting my hair styled by Brown Suga for the past 5 years and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with the end product of my hair style..
